Messy Church in the Sunday School Building

Messy Church is held on the third Sunday in the month during term-time and is held in the Sunday School Hall. Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults the involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. There are craft activities available related to the theme of the session. About half way through the session the children are invited to join together and eat food prepared for them (sometimes they do help in the preparation e.g. making a biscuit). After the food the children go into the Thornsett Room and there is a short child friendly worship session which could involve singing. Some people who come to Messy Church do not come to our regular services.
